Chapter #3

Don't mess with a witch.

“Damnit! Why does Justine have to be such a pain in my ass. I know for a fact she will be partying no matter what lie she tells to placate me. I swear this girl thinks the world owes her something” yells Susan throughout the now empty office, save for Alison.

“Alison, if you’re still here, and you better be for what I’m paying you, get me a coffee, black, now!”

Alison realizes she has missed her mark to slip out quietly like the rest of the staff, but perhaps this is for the best. She’s been putting off her revenge for far too long. Susan’s verbal abuse, the humiliating power displays, and worse of all, the mountains of unpaid overtime has left Alison fantasizing for this day for years. She can’t wait any longer. Tonight is the night.

“Um, yea boss, coming right away.” Alison quietly slips a small, pink vial from her purse, and slowly begins to add the mixture to Susan’s fresh coffee. She knows with Justine out of the picture tonight, she can make a power move of her own.

“God, I hope this works, being a witch needs to pay off sooner or later” says Alison, her hands slightly trembling as she finishes her pour.

It’s not easy to balance working an 80 hour week for a villainess while trying to hone her potions by night. On top of this, Alison felt she had to work harder than anyone else in the office to be taken seriously by her peers. Standing at a petite 5’1, in heels, with long blonde curls and rather generous assets made her what some would consider the image of stereotypical office bimbo.

The coffee concoction completed, Alison begins to make her way down the hall back to Susan. Back to her own personal hell.

“Here you are boss, is there anything else I can do for you tonight before I leave” says Alison meekly as she slowly extends her tormentor the laced coffee. Susan, who was now standing in all her 6'1, vertical glory, posed a rather intimating figure for the petite assistant.

Susan, scowling downward, quickly snatches the mug away and begins to launch into her usual tirade. “Alison, you get to leave when I say you get to leave and honestly you should be …” Susan pauses for dramatic effect while drinking her coffee “thanking me for saving you from unemployment with your useless communications degree and half assed millennial work ethic!”

As Susan takes another drink, pleased with her amusing insults, she begins to feel a bit … odd. She can’t quite seem to place her finger on it but she just feels … different.

“Ugh, that was weird. Alison I need to . . .”

You have the following choices:

1. Susan needs to go home. Now.

*Noteb*
2. Susan needs to lay down for a second at the office.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
