As the two continued to compare feet, the bottoms of Veronica's feet began to crack as if the bones were stretching. "AHHHHHHH!!!" She let out in pain as her toes stretched outward and the bottoms of her feet extended. Celina and Mr. Blackusurp jumped backwards as Veronica's feet consumed the area. Veronica jumped upwards as if to stand, but her feet seemed to take over completely. She wobbled back and forth like a sailor collecting his sea legs for the first time. The two onlookers watched in disgust as Veronica stood completely unable to control the situation whatsoever. After a few seconds of collecting her balance, her body did a flip upwards and her feet stuck to the ceiling. Celina and Mr. Blackusurp could only look on in amazement as Veronica sprinted away using the ceiling as a track. Veronica ran through the hallways of the school, still upside down. All of the students stood frozen with their jaws hanging, for no one had ever seen anything like it. Veronica made it out of the front door of the school and began to run up the side of the building. The school security had seen the footage of Veronica on the cameras in their office and had alerted the authorities immediately. Veronica finally made it to the top of the three story building and stood straight up once more, pausing to catch her breath. Her feet had grown tenfold by this time, and were now covered in white hair. "What the hell is happening to me!?" She exclaimed to herself. From the distance Veronica heard the "thwump thwump thwump" of a helicopter closing in, and a "BWEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW" of the familiar police sirens. She turned around and stared into the woods contemplating her decision.
