Chapter #6The Pack That Stays Together... by: Amme   "Master Kouga!" A voice called. Kouga turned around and saw the two loyal members of his pack, Ginta and Hakkaku.
"Oh, hey guys!" Kouga said, smiling a little. It was nice to see a familiar face. As he looked at them, he instantly noticed them looking at his fat, round gut.
"Uh... Kouga..." Hakkaku began, "You... Have you...?" He wasn't quite sure how to say what he wanted to, and the last thing he wanted to do was insult his pack leader.
Kouga was a bit nervous at first, but gave his stomach a firm slap. "Y-Yeah!" He answered, going along with it. "I figured I needed more stamina, and what better way than to gather it up than a hearty meal? I think I might have overdone it though, ehehehe..." He stammered nervously.
Ginta and Hakkaku looked at each other for a moment, before nodding. "Right." They said in unison. There was then an awkward silence, all three just looking around idly, not sure what to say yet.
"So..." Hakkaku began, "Did... You want us to help?"
"Huh?" Kouga asked, unsure what he meant.
"You know... Help you get... Bigger?" Hakkaku clarified. "You did want to, right? You know Ginta and I would be willing to help you..."
Kouga was a bit surprised at first, not sure how to respond to the lesser male's offer. If he refused, it would make him look suspicious for sure! On the other hand, if he took up the offer, this little Buddha belly wasn't going to be the only weight he would be putting on! He had no choice at this point...
"Uh, sure!" Kouga agreed, a little nervous. The two men's faces lit up with joy. They were happy to be able to help Kouga out with his endeavors. They both took one of Kouga's wrists, and started to pull at him.
"Let's get going then!" Ginta said excitedly.
"We have a lot of work to do!" Hakkaku added.

Kouga was sitting in his nest in the back part of the cave. Ginta and Hakkaku informed the tribe of Kouga's intentions, and thus, they were now all out hunting for food.
"We'll make sure you get fed a lot!" Ginta said.
"And when you can't feed yourself, we'll be your strength and feed you!" Hakkaku added.
"R-Right..." Kouga agreed passively. Just what had he gotten himself into...?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
