Gathering the Anthros and Setting out for the USA

    by: Unknown
Some of the Island’s citizens volunteered almost immediately. Others were more reluctant to leave. Some of them would ask you questions about America, which was starting to annoy you, having to repeat the same answers over and over again.

The Island’s ship builders cut down the largest trees in the jungle they could find, and carved them out to make massive canoes. Each canoe had a single sail in the center of it, and each one was connected like a train by a rope. All together, there were about ten of them single file.

It took the builders about two weeks to prepare the boats, during which time, you explored the island some more, and spent some time with Sarina, who had rather taken a liking to you. Perhaps a bit too well.

She insisted that you would share her bed with her when it was time to sleep. She would lay you on her breast and gently stroke you as you fell asleep, humming a sort of lullaby. She would sometimes lick you with her long, pink tongue, saying it was how their kind showed affection. Not that it really bothered you.

Finally, the day arrived when it was time to set sail. The boats were much too small for Sarina, so she would just swim with you on her back. “But won’t you get tired?” You ask her as she step into the ocean. “Don’t worry.” she says. “I’m an excellent swimmer. Since I’m so huge, I have much more energy than your kind would have.”

She gently lays down in the water, placing you on her back. For 8 days, she swims across the ocean with the train of boats next to her. You were surprised that she could go this long without rest or food. The anthros in the boats had brought their own supply of food, but Sarina hadn’t eaten anything the entire trip.

Finally, land was in sight. There it is.” You say. “America. At least, I hope it’s America.” The caravan of boats began chatting excitedly among themselves. Of course, when you reach the shore, there’s a huge crowd gathered on the beach, having seen Sarina coming from miles away. There are countless news crew filming as Sarina places you on shore and stands up to her full height.

Reporters run up to you as the string of boats beaches on the shore, and the passengers step out. You raise your hands as the reporters are asking a million questions at once. “Please! Please! One at a time!”

“What are these strange beings?” Asks a woman holding a microphone up to you. “They are humanoid animals, from the island of Anthronia.” You say. “I was stranded on their island and they took care of me. I told them about the outside world, and brought them here. The giant skunk behind me is named Sarina. She is their ruler.”

The cameras pointed up at Sarina who smiled and waved. “They come in peace I assure you.” You continue. “ They hope to join human society and mean absolutely no harm. I’m sure that everything will be just fine once you get to know them.”

Option 1: Everything goes well! The anthros are accepted in human society as citizens, work alongside humans, some even become famous.

Option 2: It’s a total disaster. Humans don’t trust the anthros and shun them. Some are forced to be slaves on the grounds that they’re animals, not people. Some are even hunted as big game.
