In the morning

You get up and pull out a bow made of Mithril along with some arrows made also of Mithril. You know you said you don't carry weapons but, you meant you don't use weapons as much. You use arrows when you need to attack from range. You grab your bag and your staff, slinging bow and staff over your back along with your bag. You then join the rest of the fellowship at the gates of Rivendell.
"Whats the plan" you ask Gandalf.
"We head for the mounains," Gandalf replied
"I have heard that goblins have settled in the mountains," you say "Not that this group would be unable to handle it, but if secrecy is our goal, this might not be tyhe best course."
"We could go through the mines of Moria" said Gimli "My cousin Balin would give us a royal welcome."
"I would not go through Moria unless it is absolutely necessary" said Gandalf.

You agreed with Gandalf. You have heard rumours that a Balrog of Morgoth has been awakened in Moria. But you know that it will be a perillous road either way. If Sauron and Saruman were in league with each other as, Gandalf had said, the Gap of Rohan would be similarly dangerous. You didn't want to believe that Saruman had changed sides, but if Gandalf said something, he rarely lies.
