"This is either a treacherous manipulation or your giving me grave news" said Elrond "I had thought the ring would be safe here, but it appears we must destroy it" "As we both know, Elrond, there is only one way to do that" you say "And we may be taking the ring right into Sauron's hands" "What otther choice do we have?" asked Elrond "If it is true what you say, if we keep the ring here, Sauron and Saruman shall attack, we don't have the strength to beat Mordor and Isengard" You understood what Elrond had said. "The ring cannot stay here" you say "We must destroy it" "I have called this council to decide what to do with the ring" said Elrond "You are welcome to attend, but I must warn you, most of the council don't trust you, many of them still don't trust Murder, although they've known her for years"
