Visiting from Metropolis is Kara Zor-El A.K.A. Supergirl. [Superman: The Animated Series Backstory] Supergirl is from Argo, Krypton's Moon/Sister Planet, meaning she's a slightly differently evolved Kryptonian, meaning she's immune to Kryptonite, because of not actually being from Krypton. Remember she has the same powers as Superman. X-ray vision, super hearing, freeze breath, super strength, super speed, superhuman stamina, invulnerabilty, heat vision, etc.

I dont know about you, but I personally prefer the white shirt Supergirl wears more than the blue one, but that's my opinion. So I guess in this particular story arc she'll be the "Teenie bopper" version from Superman: The Animated Series and the earlier episodes of Justice League Unlimited.
