Miss Scott's response to you makes you feel a bit nervous so you decide you want to walk home yourself. It is only a 15 minute walk so you figure it will be fine.
"No thanks Miss Scott. I will be fine walking." you say and Miss Scott seems dissappointed.
"OK David, if that is what you want. Be careful" she says and she ruffles your hair like you are some little kid. She turns back into the classroom and you head off home. You decide to cut through the park in the hope that there might be less people. It is a cold day and your pull your jacket around you to keep warm. The sleeves now cover most of your hands.
You try to work out how big you are and you estimate that you must be about 5 foot tall. You start walking but it feels really difficult in your over-sized clothes. You are beginning to regret not accepting Miss Scott's offer. On the way home, you feel really nervous about who you might meet and continue to feel the dizzy sensation. You loose about four inches and your clothes have become much too big for you. You tighten your belt as much as you can and have to take off your shoes because they are too big for you to walk in. Your feet are freezing and you realise you are going to struggle to make it home like this. You look around to see who else is in the park and if anyone has noticed your shrinking.
You seem a young woman walking alone. She is about 5' 10" and wearing a long winter coat and black boots. She has long blond hair and if very attractive. If you were normal size you would even consider trying to talk to her but right now she is well over a foot taller than you. You consider whether you might ask her for help but feel embarrassed at your size. You can't tell if she has noticed you but she seems to be walking towards you.
You look the other way and see someone that you know. It is Miss Jenkins who lives alone in a house on the edge of the park. She is well known in the local community because she is often in the park feeding the birds and is not always so friendly. She is actually a dwarf and is only around 3' 10''. Some of the local kids give her abuse for her height and being a bit of a loner. You can even remember a time when some of your friends shouted names at her and you all got into trouble. You tried to explain it wasn't you but no-one would believe you and you are worried that she will remember that incident. She seems to be looking over to you and begins to walk your way.
