"What is it?" She asks moments later when she appears at your door.
"Do I have to wear this?" You ask, indicating the clothes on the bed.
She takes one look at the dress and calls out "Felicity!"
Felicity enters the room. She look a year or two older than you. "What is it?" She asks, barely keeping herself from laughing. "Did Daniel not like the dress I picked out for him?"
"I told you to lend him a pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt." Her mother says.
"Fine." Felicity takes the dress and leaves. She returns with some more androgynous clothes but as she hands them to you she whispers "We can play dressups later."
"Thankyou Felicity." Ms Thompson says. Then to you. "Dinner's almost ready. Get dressed and come to the dining room."
You realise that Felicity didn't swap the pink panties. You put them on, no one will see them anyway, then get dressed and go to dinner.
Felicity and her mother are already at the table. There still seems to be some tension between them. Sarah soon joins you. She looks about 6 years old. You can understand why Felicity doesn't want to share a bedroom with her.
After dinner, Ms Thompson says. "Come on Sarah, let's get you ready for bed." and takes Sarah to the room she now shares with Felicity. Felicity goes to the living room and turns on the TV.
