You put your finger to your lips to ask her to be quiet. Then point at the wet patch between your legs.
She turns back and says to your father. "Let's stop at the next petrol station. I need to use the toilet."
You smile. Your mother always knows that to do.
Your father grudgingly stops at the next petrol station.
Your mother gets out and descretely retrieves some clothes form one of you bags in the back of the car. "Daniel, I don't think your father will want to stop again. You'd better see if you want to go to the toilet too."
"Ok Mom." You follow her around to the toilets.
"Here." She hands you your clothes and a plastic bag for the wet ones.
You change quickly and go to the toilet.
You meet your mother outside the toilets.
"Are you okay?" She asks, concerned. "You haven't had an accident since you were five."
You blush. "I didn't want to ask Dad to stop. I thought I could hold on."
"Are you sure that's all it is?" She asks. "If you are scared about going to boarding school you can tell me."
