"Sorry, but I don't really trust you with my body." Emily states to the absolute shock of everyone in the room.
"I beg your pardon? You don't trust me?" Anna repeats with hurt audible in her voice.
"Come on Anna it's not like that, you're a great person! It's just that I don't give myself away to just anyone." She told her. "Er, that came out wrong! I just... I gave it to mom because I've known her for years, she freaking raised me after all you know? I can just completely trust her, she's family."
"Isn't there anything we can do to change your mind?" Joan pleaded, not wanting to get so close only to be turned away.
"What about Terrance? Do you trust him?" Anna asked, an idea forming in her head.
"Of course, he's family." Emily responded without any hesitation.
"Anna, where exactly are you going with this?" You question although you already know exactly where this is going and don't care for it one bit.
"I'm saying what if I get your body Terrance and you get Emily's, that way everyone who wants a body will get one and everyone who wants to remain a head will remain so. Everyone wins!" She explains.
You scratch your neck in discomfort, now put completely on the spot. It's not that you had never wondered what it was like to be a girl, you just weren't sure if you were ready to dive right into it like this, it was rather awkward that now Anna had completely put the whole group's expectations on you. Crap, have you been sitting here silently this whole time while they've been staring at you? Quick, say something!
