Troubling omens

Suddenly a scream is heard, and another, and the Ringing of a Bell - Trouble! Sarge Ryliner and Rutabaga rush to the scene. Once there they see a crowd of clergymen and clergywomen gathering around an unconcious woman.
The unconscious woman was none other than the guildmistress of the Seamstresses Guild. Rutabaga sniffed the air and found something was amiss.
"What happened here?" Rutabaga asked.
Ryliner looked at the guildmistress and noticed broken mirror shards scattered on the ground.
"Nothing to be concerned about. We were just performing an exorcism," a clergyman said.
"Why does she still smell like she's possessed?" Rutabaga asked.
"We aren't done yet, but she does need medical attention. Could you find a healer. We could really use one," a clergywoman replied.
"We'll find a healer for you. Be sure to have the Seamtress guildmistress fully exorcised. The last thing we need is a demonic invasion," Ryliner said.
"We will," the clergyman said as Rutabaga and Ryliner walked off to find a healer.
As Rutabaga and Sarge Ryliner were walking they couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.
"Sir, do you ever get the feeling that those clergymen could be up to something? There's been a lot of strange things happening as of late. Some people are saying that a new mysterious cult has appeared.
Rutabaga scratches his chin. "Yeah, I've been looking into them. I have Carol Swaynarain looking into them. This could be an omen. If this omen leads to the townspeople wanting to crown me king then no thank you."
Sarge chuckled. "I have a feeling that the gods wouldn't want you as king anyway. Maybe as a hero, but a king? They would find someone better suited anyway."
"You're right. They would choose Wolfgang anyway. He would be more suited anyway. The Tyrant would even appoint him as a puppet king if he felt like it. Yet hopefully nothing terrible happens."
