Kate kept a close eye on the man - he could well prove to be her ticket out of here! He certainly didn't look like he had been infected with the virus, and he had a working vehicle! Just as Kate was contemplating asking the new arrival for a ride out of here, the man produced a small object from within his coat. Kate squinted, and could just about see the man slotting what appeared to be a vial of green liquid inside what looked very much like a gun! A strange gun though, not something Kate recognised (not that she had ever seen a gun up close before.)
Kate suddenly reconsidered asking the man for a lift. What was he doing with that gun? Now beginning to grow quite worried; Kate watched as the man strode forward and swept inside the building.
"Crap...I better tell the others," Kate said out loud.
The long legged Brunette turned and hurried out of the room. It was a good job she had decided to stay behind - now she could warn the others, and while she didn't really care that much about any of them, she had to admit, they were her best chance of escaping this place.
Kate moved quickly; she knew Dee was down in the labs, but wasn't sure about any of the others, so she decided to try and find her first. She moved quickly, but was trying to stay as quiet as possible - she didn't want to alert that strange man to her presence.
Kate couldn't believe her life had come to this; running from a strange man armed with a crazy gun while trying to avoid a super virus that caused people to blow up like balloons. It wasn't exactly how she pictured her second year of college.
As she turned the next corner, Kate slammed directly into something, which knocked her straight down onto her ass. She propped herself up on her elbows and stared upwards - her mouth dropped open as she realised she had run directly into the strange man she had seen outside.
"Oh crap..." Kate said, her eyes widening in fear as the ominous figure towered over her.
