Chapter #3Get Marill's Ribbon by: haxxare  Ian decided it was best to placate Marill for now. Lyra's body could wait - he had had a small crush on her for a few years now, but he could never bring himself to do anything about it. After all, they were neighbors.
"Alright Marill, I think I know where your ribbon is!" Ian said to Marill. Marill jumped up and down excitedly. Ian heard a song playing from the bed he had just been sitting on - Lyra's favorite song. Someone was calling her. He looked at the phone, and was surprised - it was him calling!
"Hello?" He answered. Now this would be entertaining, he would be talking to himself, like no one ever had before.
"Lyra? Hi, it's Ian" he heard his own voice on the other end of the line. Weird indeed. "I was about to go after the Larvitar, and found Marill's ribbon."
"Oh, thanks! Yeah, She'd lost it somewhere, I was about to go look for it!" Ian replies, imitating Lyra's cheerful attitude as best he could. He thought he did a pretty good job. Enough to convince himself, at least.
"I'll drop it off at your house, be there in a couple of minutes." his voice said.
"Thanks Ian! See you soon!" Ian replied to himself, and hung up.
"So... I'm about to get a visit from myself..." Ian thought, not sure what to make of the situation. He'd have to cut the conversation short, since he didn't think he could keep up being Lyra for that long. The doorbell interrupted his thought, and he hurried down to answer.
Sure enough, his body was standing at the door, holding the ribbon he had found. Marill seemed very excited, and jumped up to Ian's body to get the ribbon.
"There you go... I have to run now Lyra. Bye!" Ian's body said. Ian smiled, flashing one of Lyra's cute smiles at his body. With his body gone, Ian was now free to do what he pleased. He... | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
