Chloe was watching the whole scene unfold with great interest. She'd almost been the first to try the muscle machine, but the trio of high school girls had beaten her to it. But look at them! She eagerly wanted a body like Becky, Missy or, even better Cassandra! Or more! After all, they were high school girls, and now they were giant amazons. What more could this machine to do her, a junior at college! And then maybe people would listen to her when she told them that you could be healthy and strong on a vegetarian diet.

Chloe was, of course, anything but healthy and strong. While a vegetarian can certainly get enough protein to be very athletic, they have to work at it, carefully ensuring that they eat a lot of beans or other high protein non-animal food. Chloe's diet consisted primarily of sprouts, organic fair trade coffee and smug self-satisfaction. That wasn't good for anyone.

As a result, Chloe was short, thin and really quite unhealthy looking. She was quite a bit skinnier than even Becky had been before her transformation, with no curves, and even less muscle. She had a pale yellow complexion, and dry, straw-like hair that was starting to thin quite badly. Her nails too were cracking and sometimes her cuticles even bled. She wore a pair of green combat pants and a black t-shirt that read "Love animals, don't eat them"

As soon as Becky, Missy and Cassandra left the booth, Chloe stepped up.

"Step right up, young lady." shouted the impresario. "Would you like to be the next to try the big mean green muscle machine? You saw what it did for those three, imagine what it can do for you!"

"Yes yes," Chloe responded curtly. "But first, were any animals harmed in making this machine?"

"No ma'am, the BMGMM is 100% made from post consumer recycled goods, as well as a chunk of meteor rock we found in the Arizona dessert." The last sentence was delivered as an almost sub-audible whisper.

"Oh good, I'll try it then." Since it was still under the machine's free trial period, she merely stepped inside. The salesman hit the big button, the machine hummed and then dinged and moments later Chloe stepped out of the machine.

Looking exactly the same as before.

She looked down over her body with a look of abject disappointment.

"Hey, Mister! What gives, you turned those other three into muscle-bound goddesses, and nothing happened to me!"

The salesman quickly swung out a white baton and hit the sign in front of the machine, right where it said "Results may vary, Satisfaction not guaranteed" and hustled Chloe out from the front of the machine, not wanting her negative results to impact his sales.

As she left she heard him call out to the crowd, "The machine does need to have something to start with, after all. I think maybe the young lady should go have a steak dinner and come back!" The crowd laughed and Chloe fumed.

She pulled out her phone and called her boyfriend Nathan. Nathan was also a junior at college, the head of the vegetarian alliance and local membership coordinator for PETA. He was even more of a vegetarian crusader than Chloe was. He was also an underground guerrilla animal rights crusader who would break in to labs or ranches to free animals from their lives of cruelty.

"Nate, you will not believe what just happened at the mall! Yeah, the mall! Yeah yeah, I needed to get a new pair of Birkenstocks, sue me. Anyways, I'm just so mad! I can't talk on the phone, meet me at..."

The salesman may have been taunting her, but she was hungry. Really really hungry.

"Meet me at Sprouts, that place in the food court. Yeah. Five minutes, OK."

She walked to the food court and ordered a big salad at Sprouts. She found a table and devoured it quickly before her boyfriend even got there. It did nothing to curb her hunger, if anything she was hungrier than before. And craving... such cravings. For what? The thought of a giant thick rare steak popped into her head. Oh gross! That was so disgusting, what made her think of that? Eww. So thick and red and juicy and...

Yuck! She needed to clear her mind. She got up and went over to the smoothie place. A large thick strawberry smoothie always filled her up. She ordered an extra large.

"Would you like to add a whey protein booster to that for only a dollar?" Asked the girl behind the counter cheerfully.

No, whey came from milk and milk was cruel and wrong.

"Yes," she found herself responding. "Make it two."

What was wrong with her? Oh well, nevermind, it was already done. She may as well drink it. She walked back to her table slowly, and the smoothie was gone before she reached it. An extra large smoothie should have left her feeling bloated and full, but she was still starving. The more she ate, the hungrier she got.

She saw Nathan across the food court and waved at him. Nathan was the kind of vegetarian who paid attention to his nutrition. He was thin, but healthy, with long lithe muscles of a rock climber. He got in line at Sprouts and Chloe joined him.

"Hey babe, you eaten yet?"

"Err no, I was waiting for you," she lied.

"Great, let's get something here and you can tell me all about whatever set you off, OK?"

Nathan ordered two giant bean burritos in sprouted grain whole wheat tortillas. To his surprise, so did Chloe.

"Wow Chloe, I'm impressed! You're getting more protein, good for you! Don't you find beans disgusting, though?"

She didn't respond, she just tried to keep her mind of how hungry she was as she walked quickly to their table, with Nathan in tow. He'd barely unwrapped his burrito before she had finished both of hers. Quietly, without saying a thing she reached over to grab his second one and devoured that too.

"Chloe, slow down! Wow getting mad must really give you an appetite! Chloe? Chloe! Where are you going?"

She didn't respond, she was lost in her hunger now, pretty much out of control. Nathan watched as she walked over to the roast beef sandwich shop, lost in her cravings for food. She looked different somehow, he couldn't put his finger on it.

She got there and walked around behind the counter. When the pimply young cashier tried to stop her she shoved him, sending his sprawling backwards on the linoleum floor and she walked into the walk-in fridge. The door closed behind her with a dull thud.

Nathan, realizing that something wasn't normal here, got up and ran across the food court to the roast beef shop. He found the young cashier, Chris according to his name tag, just getting up, still woozy from being knocked down by Chloe. For a little thing she was strong! They both walked up to the walk-in fridge and tried to open it, but the door wouldn't budge. Nathan knocked on the door and yelled in, "Chloe!" but she made no response. The only sound was the dull humming of the cooling cycle.

"That door shouldn't lock! She must be jamming it or something from the inside."

"Why would she do that?" asked Nathan. "She must be stuck in there somehow. There's got to be some way to force this open, she could suffocate!"

He was cut off by a titanic pounding sound as the entire walk-in refrigerator door shook. They only had a second to get out of the way before a second impact, this one stronger than the first tore the door from it's hinges and sent it flying across the shop. Nathan and Chris carefully peered around the corner into the freezer trying to see through the fog from the cold air. The fog soon dissipated, and they could see inside. Pretty much everything that could be consumed by a human was gone. Meat, cheese, vegetables, even a 40 gallon drum of mayonnaise it was all gone. Packaging was strewn around the room. And in the middle of it all was Chloe.

She was at least a foot taller than she had been when this all started, easily topping Nathan's six feet. Her formerly baggy green combat pants had been shredded by her gigantic muscular legs. She reached down and casually tore the scraps of tough fabric that still dangled from them, leaving her with a pair of very, very short cutoffs that hugged all the curves of her muscular bottom. Her enormous legs were covered in goose bumps, the only sign she gave that the cold of the fridge bothered her.

Above her waist, her black t-shirt was pulled impossibly tight across her broad back and giant chest, pulled up to reveal a washboard stomach that looked to be carved out of granite. The shirt had formerly read 'love animals, don't eat them', but all that was still visible of that slogan was a giant, distorted word "ANIMAL" stretched cartoonishly across Chloe's now immense bosom. Deep cleavage showed from the neck of the hopelessly over-matched t-shirt, while the bottoms of Chloe's colossal breasts tantalizingly dipped below what used to the the waist band of her shirt. Either Chloe hadn't been wearing a bra, or it was destroyed in her growth. Regardless, her new bosom seemed to have no need of support, a good thing since she'd never be able to find a bra to fit!

"Chloe? Chloe, are you OK?" Nathan called in tentatively as he stepped foot into the fridge.

A hugely muscled arm shot out and grabbed him, easily lifting him off the ground and pulling him into a tight embrace. In the cold her hard, muscular arm made it feel like he was being held by a stone statue. With the other hand she finished eating the last morsel of food in the room, what appeared to be about a two pound hunk of roast beef. Nathan grimaced as he watched his girlfriend consume the meat.

"Oh, I'm feeling MUCH better now, thanks for asking!"
