Choice 1: Just couldn't take anymore abuse from the villagers, and when he tries to complain about it to his 'friends' and 'teachers,' they basically tell him to deal with it, it'll get better, they're too busy, or something else along those lines.
Choice 2: Minato and Kushina are resurrected by a new jutsu, (not edo-tensei, but it can be based off of that) and Naruto freaks out when he discovers they're his parents. It gets worse when they have no idea how their son has been treated by the villagers, and they think he'd be happy to see them.
Choice 3: The council decides to seal Naruto's power. Officially, it's due to a failed mission and, the threat of the Akatsuki, but the majority just want hate him.
