"I can't accept this," said Kate. "No one has that sort of power--or should have."
"You will, I do, and that doesn't matter," replied Felicia. "The simple fact is that I'm omnipotent, and it's only because this last month has been the best of my life that I haven't done whatever the hell I want with you so far.
"By the way, where's Tina?"
"Tina? Felicia, she's right over..." But as Kate looked where she last saw Tina, her sentence trailed off as she realized Tina was nowhere to be seen.
"Alison? Becky, Sarah?" said Kate as she recovered her voice. "Have you seen Tina?"
"Tina, Kate?" said Alison. "Who's Tina?"
"You know, Tina! The grad student, who just got a huge butt? I mean, she was the other person we let in with you, Alison. How could you forget her?"
"Other person? Kate, you know full well that we decided to go to five people for that year, and we only let in Alison," said Sarah.
"But... but she was just here!" said Kate, now frantic. "She couldn't have just, well, gone!"
"Kate," said Becky, "are you sure you're feeling okay? I mean, I know you thought Felicia was crazy with her whole god thing, though that's seeming less so by the minute, but imaginary roommates? That's not like you, Kate, not at all. Maybe you should lie down."
"No! I don't need to lie down! I just need to know Tina went!"
"Went where, Kate? I've been here all along," said Tina.
"Tina?" whispered Kate. "Tina!" Kate veritably jumped onto Tina and held on as if she'd never let go.
"Jeez, Kate, you'd think I'd just come back from the dead or something."
"But... but... Alison, Becky, Sarah, just a moment ago, Tina wasn't there! Right?"
"What are you going on about, Kate?" said Alison. "Tina's been there all along, just like she said."
Kate turned to Felicia. "What was that for?"
"What was what for?" said Felicia.
"Oh, come off it, you did that."
"Did what?"
Kate walked over to Felicia and whispered in her ear. "I'm guessing that you erased Tina from existence, only you made me keep my old memories."
Felicia spoke into Kate's mind. In simplistic terms, yes.
"So I'll admit that you're powerful, but not that you're God. God would not be so arbitrary, erasing a friend just to prove a point."
No, Kate. I am God, and I am as arbitrary as I want to be. Be glad I like you--otherwise you'd know where Tina went. But here's a taste.
Kate suddenly felt wracked with intense pain and even more intense pleasure. And it was at that point when the last vestige of Kate's skepticism gave in. Like the other four, she was now wholly devoted to Felicia.
Felicia grew out three more breasts, and made each of her five begin to give milk. Willing her five housemates to drink, she bathed in the sensations of having five nipples suckled simultaneously.
"You are now my disciples. With your aid I will spread my word. Through you shall my blessings flow. When I take my rightful place as the god of this universe, you shall be among my most favoured deputies, ruling entire galaxies, clusters of galaxies, in my name. You are now mine."
Each of the five felt their bodies changing. They grew taller, with larger breasts and bigger asses. Their bodies became yet more athletic, and soon they looked the part of goddesses themselves. Felicia didn't mind. Just as her blessings flowed through them, so would veneration of them flow back to her. In many ways, they were but extensions of her own self, even more so than the universe was.
Felicia pondered her next move.
