Unaware Human Couch Part 2

    by: D1554P01NTM3NT Author IconMail Icon
Lola had been sitting on Marks head now for about 5 minutes. Mark could still breathe as he luckily turned his head to the side to face the crack inbetween the cushion and the side of the couch before she sat down. The crack had obviously got a lot smaller but there was just enough oxygen coming in that he could still breathe. One thing he didn’t anticipate was how hot he’d get as he was already covered in sweat but he didn’t care as the past five minutes had been the best of his life. Lola was quite fidgety so Mark would constantly feel the weight and pressure shuffle as she adjusted her position. He then felt all her weight pinned onto the upper half of his head as she leaned over the arm of the couch to get something out of her bag. She was getting her AirPods case out as they had died and she decided to take them out. Lola didn’t put the AirPods back in her bag, she put them in her pocket and resumed her original sitting position meaning her weight was now spread more evenly across his head again. Lola decided to call her mom whilst she was having her break from cleaning and Mark could feel every vibration of every word she said.

Lola - ‘Hey Siri, call Mom’

Siri - ’Calling Mom, IPhone‘

Lola tapped her fingers on the arm of the couch while the phone rang and she put the phone on speaker meaning Mark could hear as well.

Lolas Mom - ‘Hey sweetie’

Lola - ‘Hey Mom’

Lolas Mom - ‘What are you up to? Are you coming over later to see us?’

Lola - ‘Yeah that’s the plan. I’m currently at Mark and Carlas cleaning as Carla and Alexa have gone to a modelling gig across the country and I don’t know where Mark is but he doesn’t seem to be home, I mean his car is here but he may have taken a different one from his garage and gone to the store or out with friends or something.’

Lolas Mom - ‘That’s good honey. It’s good that they gave you that job to help you with your modelling.’

Lola - ‘Yeah if anything they pay me too generously for it but I think it’s coz they know how hard it is to get into modelling. It’s also pretty thirsty work even with their AC. I’m actually gonna go grab a glass of water now, I’m sure they won’t mind.’

Mark felt Lolas weight and pressure lift off his head as she got up to go to the kitchen. Mark spent a minute being very indecisive whether to stay inside the couch or get out because he knew it was wrong but being in there was the best feeling ever. He decided to get out and as he lifted the couch cushion, he heard a thud next to him inside the couch. Mark didn’t know that Lolas AirPods had fallen out of her pocket and neither did she, and when he saw what had happened he layed back down and dropped the couch cushion back on himself to feel around for them as they had fallen through an awkward gap in the padding. Mark didn’t want Lola to start looking for her AirPods when she eventually realised and see the padding or worse him under there. Mark wasn’t thinking straight and when he layed back down he forgot to tilt his head to the side looking at the crack and instead left his face staring straight up with the couch cushion directly on top of it as his only thought was digging out the AirPods.

Mark had finally found the AirPods caught up in a blanket after feeling around and had just grasped them in his hand when he heard a glass being placed on a coaster, it took him a split second to realise and by then it was too late as it felt like the weight of the world had just come crashing down on his face as Lola had jumped onto the sofa where she was previously sitting trying to the gain the comfort she had before going to get her drink. Lola was satisfied with her sitting position unaware of Marks predicament and she evidently couldn’t feel that she was now sitting on his face instead of the side of his head. The buttdrop nearly knocked Mark out but he only lost his bearings for a couple seconds before regaining full consciousness and realising what was happening. Mark now had three problems, his face was already beginning to hurt and he was pretty sure Lola May have broken his nose, he now had no air pocket and was practically being suffocated and wouldn’t be able to breathe for too long, and he still had Lolas AirPods in his hand and what would happen if she realised they weren’t in her pocket.

Lola had sat down for about 30 seconds and Mark was already having troubles breathing. As much as he wanted out of that situation or to at least be able to turn his head to the right to face the crack, he’d much rather die than be discovered and face the consequences and embarrassment. Mark had completely forgot Lola was on the phone to her mom as she had taken her phone off of speaker for some reason which is why Mark didn’t hear Lola coming back, as Lolas Mom had been talking for the past few minutes straight about her and Lolas fathers plans for their trip away the next weekend. Lola spoke for the first time in minutes when her mom told her something they were planning on doing that Lola had done before while away and she said ‘ohhhh yeah that’s really fun, me and Kasey (her best friend, not in this story 😉) did that when we went away a few months ago’. Lolas mom had evidently started asking questions about it as Lola began to give the generic answers of ‘yep’ and ‘uhuh’. They carried on talking for another couple minutes with Mark now really struggling to breathe and stay conscious when Lola suddenly said ’oh hang on Mom, I’m gonna have to go, I think Marks just pulled up and he doesn’t know I’m here, so I better go greet him so I don’t startle him’. Then Lolas Mom evidently said bye as Lola went ‘ok Mom I’ll see you later. Love you. Byeeee.’ Lola then got up off the couch allowing Mark to finally breathe and he did the quietest heavy breathing you’ll likely ever hear, so he didn’t get found out. Lola only went and opened the front door and looked out and the door was in the same room as the couch so Mark never had the opportunity to get out, however he was able to slide the AirPods back onto the couch cushion and he turned his head to look through the ccrack towards the door where Lola was still standing, where a shocked expression came upon her face and she waved to whoever was outside and she said I didn’t think you’d be here with a smile. Mark was confused as he hadn’t invited anyone over and he didn’t know of anyone else Carla would ask to come over. Mark watched as Lola turned back into the house and walked back towards the couch and she saw her AirPods on the cushion and said ‘oops I didn’t realise they had fallen out of my pocket‘ as she picked them up and sat crack on the couch, but this time she sat by the other arm on top of Marks lower legs and feet. Mark was a little confused as Lolas bag and drink were on the side where his head was. The only person Mark knew Lola would move for is Carla as she always sits on that side and if anyone else is sitting there she’ll make them move so she can sit there. Mark watched the door as he saw a suitcase being pushed in followed by Carla, Alexa and two of their modelling friends, Carys (20) and Maddie (19). All four went on the same shoot but there was a fire in the building where the shoot was supposed to take place so they were sent home on the next available flight on the Sunday morning and the shoot had been rescheduled...
