I never talked to her, she was just the other person who was late for the show. We entered the room like walking through a glass floor to not alarm the people eyeing the stage. Her grace shined over us; I don't know if she was rich or famous, but I know that she wasn't a commoner. I followed her red dress towards the neglected back row, leaving her stilettos behind me after a few steps. But then something fell from my pocket and with metallic whispers it bounced away. "Shoot!" Is all I said before darkness took over the room and the people below started to shush each other. I kneeled next to a stool to try to find what I had lost, my timid hand never going too deep inside the dimness. I stopped when a sudden sound of footsteps faded next to where I was. So I looked in it's direction, a grand shadow molded like a person was standing in front of me. I realized that it probably was her, so I lifted my face ready to apologize for being in her way, but the hungry shadow came first, shoving my head back as she sat on it.
My neck was shaking, "What do I do?" I thought with frozen blood, when an announcer voice echoed: "He learned the art of Magic from the spirits! He is the man that defies logic! You are not ready for... Noel Bell!" Then a reflector light was cast in the stage and the magician appeared with his assistant.
"Don't move, please don't move," I kept repeating myself while her insensible strength kept trying to push me down.
Surprised by the show she moved back, balancing on my face, and then applauded with the rest of the room.
"For my next trick I need the help from someone in the audience, what about the lonely lady in red at the end of the room?" Said the magician. She wasn't sure so the magician sent her assistant for her. A young lady in stockings walked towards me, I couldn't breathe, every step trampled my chest.
"Awww, it seems that she is glued to her seat," said the pair of legs to my left. "Maybe if we all applaud she will be able to leave it."
Her hips danced while the they begged her to be their star but after playing with me she grabbed the assistant's hand and went away. Neither of them cared when I disappeared.
