Chapter #3

The Matador

In a Spanish accent, you received a reply from an athletically trimmed man. "Don't worry about me girl," he said as he unstrapped you from the table, "Let's just get you out of here!" As he released you from your imprisonment however, you began to lose your consciousness. You were far too weak to move yourself, and you once again pass out on the floor before the man's feet. The lack of strength in your new body was clearly overwhelming.

Later you awoke to find yourself in a completely different environment. Inside a small tent, you felt the freedom to move your body around under your own fruition. You ascended to a vertical base, but still you gathered no memories from your past, let alone how you wound up in that destroyed laboratory in the first place. As you let out a big yawn, stretching your arms with no regard of your new feminine body, you heard the sound of footsteps from outside the tent.

You tore the zip of the tent down until you saw a man with brown, curly hair and a slight beard. It was the same man that rescued you from the hostile environment where you first awoke in your new body. He was packing a number of items into a small bag. He was wearing long brown leather coat, with a fur collar, an unbuttoned gray dress shirt and a pair of striped gray pants. He had a silver necklace tucked around his neck that possibly carried some sort of significance to this illustrious character.

After incidentally squashing a leaf upon the palm of your hand as you crawled out of the tent, the man turned his attention towards you. The look on his face carried the feeling of pity. "So you're awake now," his voice carried a slight charm to his wit, "I trust that you had a nice rest?" You looked around, only to see that you were both surrounded by trees and fallen leafs. Suddenly the man handed a sandwich to you. Confused, you take the sandwich from him and took a bite. "Don't worry," he said in a comforting manner, "You're safe now."

You were overwhelmed by what had recently transpired. You were confused by the presence of this Spaniard. As he turned away, you mustered the courage to ask him a question. "Thanks for everything," you said, "But who are you?"

The man turned back towards you, ignoring your question with one of his own. "You were in quite a state when I found you," he lectured as you wiped the split ends of your hair out of your face, "Might I ask how you found yourself in that situation?"

You slightly giggle, trying to resist the handsome man's charming accent. "I'm not too sure. I don't know how I woke up in that awful place. I can't remember anything. I can't even remember my own name!" You were clearly distraught by your lack of memory, but your worries were suddenly lowered as the man dropped down to your eye level. "Well," he chuckled, "You must have had quite a bump on the head in the process."

He slightly embraced you, comforting you for the moment. As he ascended back to his feet, and you echoed his actions and also ascended to your feet, he returned to packing his bag. "My name's Miguel by the way," he suddenly blurted as you got to grips of the viewpoint of your new feminine body, "Miguel Caballero Rojo."

Looking to take advantage of this confession, you asked him why he was out in the middle of the woods.

"I was just traveling through these woods until I was attacked by a bunch of these robots," he explained, "They were strong, but alas, they were no match for me. But then I heard an explosion nearby. I went to investigate, and that's when I found you amongst an array of corpses and damaged robots."

"But why were you out here in the first place?"

"The Mishima Zaibatsu. They took something close to me, and I aim to gain something in return." The enigma of this character was infuriating, but you continued to take interest in this mysterious figure. You asked who were the Mishima Zaibatsu. "That was some serious knock on the head wasn't it?" Miguel remarked, "The Mishima Zaibatsu are an organization that has declared war against the entire world. They are led by the most sinister human being alive, Jin Kazama. He owes me for what he has taken from me."

"And what did he take from you?" Your question was immediately discarded as Miguel turned away, clearly unwilling to answer your question.

"I better get going," Miguel said as he grabbed his bag, "Perhaps you should do the same." Before he could make his exit however, you grabbed his attention. You wanted to go with him, but he was uneasy in agreeing to do so. You had absolutely no idea where you were, or where you need to go, and perhaps this Spaniard could enlighten you in some way. Besides, he was too charming to leave alone!

But what happened next?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. He agreed to let you join him on his journey.

*Noteb*
2. He refused and left you alone in the woods.

*Noteb*
3. Something else.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
