"Oh hey Matt! I was going out, didn't know you were coming over!" She said with a smile.
"Well it's my day off and I wanted to show you something really incredible that happened this morning! Speaking of day off, didn't know you worked on Wednesday?" I asked.
"Usually I don't, but..." She sighed, "My boss wanted me to do extra hours today, so... Yeah... Work!"
"Isn't your dad a partner where you work?" I added.
"Well yeah, but I don't want people to think that I got this job because of him, I want people to know that I deserve this job. Although, I think my superior knows this and is using it to make me work harder... Asshole..." She adds the last part under her breath.
"Anyway," She continued with a smile, " What's this incredible thing you wanted to show me?"
I grinned and looked around to see if there's no one around. Seeing the coast clear, I take out the remote and proceeded to shrink Meilin's mailbox.
Before her incredulous face has time to speak. I grow it back to normal size, turning back to Meilin, still grinning.
"Oh my god..." She said breathlessly.
"Yeah... Got myself a shrink ray." I said quite smugly.
"Do you realize the possibilities of this?!" She asked shouting under her breath as if someone could hear us.
