There was a knock on the door. Suzy looked at me apologetic.

"I kinda had an appointment with some friends. Hope you don't mind, you can stay if you like," she said smiling.

"Uh, of course, no, great," I said surprised by this sudden interruption.

"I'll be right back, wait here," she got up and left the room. A minute later I heard talking downstairs, all female voices. From what I could tell it was Suzy and two others. Who knows what she might be telling them about me.

It was taking forever for them to get up to her room. I was getting pretty tired of waiting.
