Tina Walked Into The Kitchen

Tina walked in and took in the situation. She saw me, sitting there with a piece of toast in one hand, and my honey-covered mother in the other. There was a pause and I felt as if my heart had stopped. I didn't know what to say, how to react, how to explain.

Tina moved first. She rushed forward towards me. When I reacted it was to bring Karen close to my chest, protectively and back off. But my reaction was delayed and Tina got close enough to make more sense of the situation.

By the time my mind was in motion, Tina blurted out, "Mom?!" and fainted.

I brought Karen up to my face, still upside-down.

"Well... ," I started. "What do we do now?"

2. Make Karen Larger
