Shortly before the emperor gave the dreaded Order 66, Ashoka was sent alone on a, "Blue Milk Run" Reconasince mission to the planet of Lisal... and investigate the rumors of a Sith Holocron being there.
The Planet Lisal itself had only a small abandoned base inhabited only by Republic Scientists studying the planet's past. "Let me see..." Ashoka thought as she shifted through old computer logs and data, "Before the CIS Raided Lisal forcing the scientists to evacuate, they found some remarkable Fossils, Lisal was once a planet very much like Naboo, overflowing with organic life, then at some point 20,000 years ago within the corse of 50 years it became like Tatooine... odd."
She continued to read the now dead scientists Journal. "It dosn't make any sense there is no evience of climate change, no artifical objects this planet had no native sentient species, no massive meteor Imapacts, no solar flares or supernovas the star is still alive young and far too distant, no superweapon raidiation, no signs of ancient battle or colonization, no nothing it's almost as if something just... plucked Lisal clean of life and consumed everyithing alive on it." Ashoka creeped out by the findings so far began to ponder what to do next...
