This is a brief summary of the main characters in this thread. More may be added as the story continues.
Susan Tanner
14 years old
5'4'' 118 lbs.
Tall and slender with a well- toned body; long sand blond hair and blue eyes.
Susan is a kind, caring, and curious young lady who loves a good mystery and is very good at finding clues to solve them. She is the daughter of the wealthy technology tycoon, Geo Tanner. Susan was considered a 'problem child' due to the fact she blew the whistle on a teacher who was purposely failing students merely because their parents were her old classmates. Although the teacher was in the wrong, other teachers felt threatened by her curious nature. She discovers that she has the ability to become completely invisible and intangible when in a trance like state. While investigating this, she learned that her grandfather and father also had this power, a gift passed on from father to son. This intrigued her more and she soon discovered that she was born a boy but, due to a genetic condition in her mother's ancestry, she changed into a girl while still in infancy. Susan's grandfather left her a book, explaining how her power works and who to use it wisely.
Geo Tanner
36 years old
5'10'' 175lbs.
Tall, well built with short black hair and brown eyes.
Geo is a wealthy technology tycoon and the owner and operator of Tanner Tech Enterprises. He is a serious man when it comes to business but a warm and loving person when it comes to his family. He is patient but firm and will use his wealth and technology to protect what he holds dear to his heart. He gained a power from his father to become invisible and intangible while in a trance like state and has aided his father in his exploits to better the world.
In the main thread, Geo's father was originally of the Yoru family of Japan. They had changed their name to Tanner to avoid persecution as Geo's father, Hero Yoru was part of an elite Ninja group known as the Kage Yurei, ('ghost shadows') Each member of this group was blessed with a powerful Eien ni (forever) Jiujitsu that would be passed from father to son without need for training as it was magically placed into their very being (DNA). Each had the ability to become like ghosts with all the powers that came with that form, defending the secrets and riches of the ruling dynasty.'
As time passed, Hero became the last surviving member only he fell in love with an American woman and left Japan behind to start a new life. The Eien ni Jiujitsu was passed on to Geo who, in turn, passed it on to his son Sam who became his daughter, Susan. (See Susan Tanner above)
In the main thread, Geo was the leader of a group known as the Problem Child Gang. This group consisted of four main members, each with unique skills or gifts. Together, with other members adding to their numbers, they worked to fight crime in Waterfront City like many a super team in the comic books they had read. Sadly, the entire group was nearly killed on their last mission, forcing them to give up crime fighting. Now, twenty years later, Geo's daughter gains the powers of a ghost and he fears a repeat of history as fate forces the Problem Child Gang to emerge once more.
Amanda Tanner
36 years old
5’9’’ 136lbs.
Tall and muscular with long sand blond hair and blue eyes.
Amanda is a kind and patient woman who loves being a stay at home mother to her daughter, Susan. She works with the maids and butlers inside her mansion home as well as organizes charities to keep herself busy. She has sharp senses and reflexes and is well versed in self-defense. Her maiden name is Jones, she is Ted Jones older sister (See Ted Jones under chapter one ‘Garth Jones’)
In the main thread, she had the ability to transform into a seven foot muscular woman; she called herself Anna, the unknown Amazon while following and protecting her little brother as he lead The Problem Child Gang. This group consisted of four main members, each with unique skills or gifts. Together, with other members adding to their numbers, they worked to fight crime in Waterfront City like many a super team in the comic books they had read. Sadly, the entire group was nearly killed on their last mission, forcing them to give up crime fighting. Now, twenty years later, Amanda’s daughter has developed a powerful gift of her own, making her fearing a repeat of history. She and her husband (see above) reveal their past and try to detour her from making the same mistakes they did as fate calls for the Problem Child Gang to rise again.
