As you look ahead, you see a large open container in the middle of the field. As you get closer, you realize that it appears to be filled to the brim with fairy dust! It seems too good to be true: you could scoop out all that fairy dust and make a killing! But, thinking on it, you realize it may be a trap. Who leaves giant buckets of fairy dust out in the open? Fairies maybe, you didn't exactly become an expert on them before setting out.
You put down your burlap sacks and cover them with your jacket, hiding them them so any nearby fairies don't suspect your intentions. You cautiously approach the container for a closer look. The dust appears to be a vibrant pink. You remember that brightly colored fairy dust is more potent and valuable, and this looks to be as high a grade as they come. Different colors have different properties, but you can't remember which were which. At any rate, that pink fairy dust is probably worth any risk.
You walk up to the bucket to carry away the fairy dust, when suddenly the ground gives out under you. You let out a yelp as you feel yourself falling. Looking down, you see a massive deep hole opening up underneath you. Acting on instinct, you grab onto a large root, hanging on for dear life. Looking around, you see a number of roots sticking out of the ground into the hole. Below you is only pitch blackness, who knows how far you'd fall if you let go. As your predicament begins to sink in, you wonder with more than a little resignation what's going to happen to you next.
