"Well well, what do we have here..." You mutter to yourself as you see a cloaked figure approaching in your direction, from the movement and body shape you can tell that it's probably a female... her face however is completely covered by the hood she has put on her.
You are surprised she made it this far, wearing a covering cloak like this, against what newbies might think, most of the time actually makes you stand out more on the road.
You come out of the shadows, just in time to stand in the way of the presumable spy or traitor. Now that you stand before her, you notice that the female is actually entire head length shorter than you.
"Easy there little girl. Quite a dangerous road you decided to take." You say smugly
"Little?! I'm 20 years old! How dare a commoner like you call me..." The female says in offended tone, but quickly stops herself, it's already too late though, it's quite obvious you quite possibly just stumped onto a gold mine, if she is some noble's daughter, she will definitely be worth quite a lot when given to either side.
"Whatever... You must let me through, otherwise Coninze will soon turn into a bloodbath!" She said, her tone still rather commanding and having certain elegance as well as military vibe to it, perhaps she was a daughter of some general?
"Easy there, first things first... who are you?" You ask, not really expecting an honest answer
"It doesn't matter! Just let me through already before I decide cut through you with my sword." The female said impatiently, revealing a rather fancy looking sword attached at her side under the cloak, you could also see parts of an armor... and not just any armor, but of Rylestian elite guard, they fight in most important battles, and protect the king himself... just who the hell is she?!
"What business would a Rylestian elite guard have informing Coninze about her own kingdom's plans?" You ask
"My... king, he had some weird mage build him a magical device, I'm not sure how it works, but it is able to incapacitate people in a large radius by making them laugh, as if they were all being tickled or something. He plans to use it on Coninze's capital and slaughter everyone there while they are unable to defend themselves." Explained the female
"Sounds like a legit military strategy to me!" You comment
"But it's dishonorable! The king should never stoop so low... that's why I want to warn the Coninze queen before it's too late." Explained the female
"All that talking, and I still don't know who exactly are you." You say, while also considering your options in your mind
"The name's Irina, that's all you need to know. Now get out of my way already!" She says changing to her commanding tone again
"Geez, you are so bossy..." You reply, as you finally decide what to do about her
