"Let's start," you say, grinning, and push the last button.

Quickly, you put away the device, sit on top of Debbie's chest of drawers and await your transformation. You don't have to wait long. The device, as programmed, morphs you in a series of stages, starting with the simplest, progressing to the most complex. The first stage is the shrinking. Such a simple procedure happens almost instantaneously. The room balloons dramatically around you. You're now around a foot in length.
