"Bullshit!" you declare as you step into the Cosplay Convention. In all your years, you've never seen as many women in a convention, ley alone in costume as are currently meeting your eyes. The large hall teams with them. You doubt very much if even half of them are real women. "Total bullshit! This is supposed to be a Cosplay Convention! Not a frigging... TF fest!"
"I have no objections to this," your friend Martin says, as two 7-foot female Draenei twins walk past, their massive mammaries almost bursting out of matching t-shirts, proudly displaying the phrase "My vagina is blue. Your argument is invalid.' He stumbles mindlessly off after them.
"Oh my God!" your other cosplaying friend, Marie, squees. "Do you think that's somebdy transformed as Jack Sparrow, or somebody transformed as Johnny Depp dressed up as Jack Sparrow?!"
"Who cares!" you yell, angry that your cardboard recreation of the Master Chief's MJOLNIR body armour is being completely overshadowed. "Maybe it actually is Johnny Depp!" But your sarcasm falls on deaf ears as she drifts off in the direction of the JD-lookalike, leaving you alone in the middle of the convention loor.
It isn't long before you find the source of this sudden influx of incredibly-accurate pop icon recreations; a number of stalls are touting cheap TF merchandise and TF services. One stall sells themed shirts that offer single-day transformations. Another sells potions. Another sells linked rings - allowing a couple to become some of the most famous romances in fandom.
One rather dramatic purveyor stands atop his stall, waving a TF wand around his head, declaring the ability to change anybody into anything for just $50. If only anybody had the guts to approach him.
