Sasuke was released easily enough while Kakashi waved.
"I'll see you tomorrow, take this time to rest up and relax, you've earned it." Kakashi said as he left, Sauske left without saying anything.
"Not even a thanks." Sakura sighed, "the old me would've asked him out, now, now I see how pointless it is."
"It's his loss." Naruto said, "if there's one thing I've learned is that you can't force people to act how you want to act." If only he knew just how untrue that statement is given his current circumstance.
"True." Sakura agreed, "anyways, I do believe we had a date arranged." Naruto smiled at that, he finally got a date with Sakura.
"That we do." Naruto said, "unfortunately due to, reasons beyond my control, I can't go anywhere except one place, my favourite ramen store, Ichiraku Ramen."
"Is that right?" Sakura asked.
"Yes, and don't ask what it is, I'm not allowed to say anything, not right now anyways." Naruto said, gramps told him not to say anything about his secret until after the Chunin Exams, he didn't get it but orders were orders.
"Huh." Sakura blinked, "when are you allowed to say it?"
"After the Chunin Exams." Naruto said, "I'll tell you then."
"I'll hold you to that." Sakura said, "but for now, let's go to your ramen store."
"Thanks." Naruto said, they walked towards the store, Naruto of course ignored the glances he received from others, Sakura didn't.
"Naruto, they're glaring at you, and not in a nice way." Sakura said.
"I know." Naruto muttered, "I tend to ignore them."
"This can't be simple pranking, does it have to do with the thing you can't tell me about?" Sakura wondered.
"Yes." Naruto said, Sakura inwardly gasped, now she's really determined to find out more. But she can't let that distract her, for now she had to focus on her date with Naruto.
