After standing around for about a minute, Mark decided that this person wasn't related to the body exchange experiments, he was just weird.
"Um, well, if you find the contact and still see me around, just let me know, uh, thanks!"
Mark just walked past the boy briskly and never looked back. Upon seeing this, Alexandria backed up and sat in one of the benches in the park. Mark sat down next to her.
"What happened?"
"He's just some strange guy. I honestly think he's on something to be honest."
Alexandria grabbed Mark and turned him toward her.
"No, I can sense something from him, and now that we are so close, it's stronger than ever. He's not normal. No one else we passed gave off even a tenth of the energy."
Mark just brushed her off.
"Well, I did what I could. You seem to be the smart guy..."
"Don't call me a guy."
Alexandria frowned deeply. Mark took some devilish pleasure in denting her ego slightly, but it also reminded him that he didn't get to tell her who he really was.
"Fine, as long as you don't call me a girl."
Alexandria just gave him an uninterested look.
"Why not tell me before?"
"I tried to, but my injuries prevented it. My name is Mark by the way.
