This choice: Souji agrees... But they come across the murder scene... • Go Back...Chapter #6Cash saved by murder... Wait, what? by: Evil Genius   Souji could feel a cold feeling in the pit of his wallet, as the over curvy Yukiko joined in the gluttonous stare with her slim (if not going down the slippery slope) friend Chie.
With a nevrous look on his face, Souji gulped slightly...
-Uh... Yes?
-Sure! Your treat... Right?
-... (Silence is always golden!)
And just as Souji was about to say something...
"So that high schooler left school early, and as she came down this street..."
Both of the girls turned their attention from the nervous Souji, who breathed a silent breath of relief as he turned to the side to see some of the local housewives (some of them a little chubby as well) standing at an intersection that was blocked off by police tape and police cars.
"WOW, who could imagine something THAT BIG would be hanging on an antenna? How the hell did it stay up there for so long?"
"Good thing it was so huge, I was able to sneak a peak at it."
"Even with all their numbers, the police and fire department just took that FAT thing off just a moment ago."
"Well, its just weird seeing a dead body like that showing up! And a fat one like that!"
Chie gulped... Actually swallowing the food she had in her mouth, "D-Did she just say... A d-d-dead body?"
"Hey!"
The trio of high school students turned to the side, seeing Dojima standing in front of them, his jacket slung over his shoulder, "What're you doing here?"
Souji quickly stated that he and the girls were just passing by.
Dojima sighed loudly, rubbing the back of his head, "Yeah, that figures..."
Before Dojima could say anything else, another detective ran behind him, heading for a nearby bush...
... To describe what happened next, well, the sounds that Souji heard were quite digusting...
"Damn it Adachi!" Dojima moaned with a slap to his forehead. "How long are you going to be acting like a rookie? You're supposed to be used this stuff already."
Sighing loudly, Dojima turned back to the three teens, "Listen, you three should head straight home..."
And just like that, Dojima headed back to the scene... The nervous detective Adachi running after him...
For some reason, when Souji heard that name... A chill ran down his spine...
"Hey, guys..." Chie muttered. "Maybe we should go to Junes another time?"
"G-Good idea..." Yukiko agreed.
Souji nodded as well...
"So then its settled..." Chie replied with a cherubic smile. "Well, we're off. Well neighbor, starting tomorrow, let's do our best!"
Souji nodded, watching as the two girls began to walk off...
... A murder occurred in Inaba... All of this was familiar somehow... And yet, it was different...
Oh well... Souji decided to return home...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
