Finn turned to Kayla, still weak, and confessed,
"I'm sorry my Queen, but only girls feet can bring back my strength..."
Kayla's eyes widened. She knew what Finn meant by that; Kayla must use her feet in order for him to get back his strength. After all, that's what the other goblins did. She thought about it for a second. She didn't want to use her feet in such a way, but she didn't want to lose her new friend either.
"What do you want me to do?" asked Kayla.
"Ugh... Nothing," said Finn, clearly in pain, "It's too late for me, Miss Kayla." Kayla began to worry and decided the ultimatum; she must save Finn by giving him her feet!
"Don't say things like that," Kayla said, slipping off her shoes, "Hold on, Finn, I'll help!" Kayla could feel that he feet were sweaty from all the running she had done the last few minutes. After she got the second shoe off, she inspected her feet. she was hesitating on the situation, for she still thought people doing things with her feet was really weird. However, she had to help Finn. "Here you go Finn!"
Finn, with his eyes closed, felt Kayla raise her young, sweaty feet up to his face. He sniffed the air; feeling the energy it possessed for him.
"Go ahead, Finn," said Kayla, still filled with anxiety, "Just...just do what you have to with my feet. You need your strength!" Hardly moving, Finn managed to move his face towards Kayla's feet until his nose touched Kayla's right sole, making her twitch. "Go on, Finn. Sniff." Finn used all that was left in him to begin smelling Kayla's feet. At first, they were very weak sniffs. Kayla wiggled her toes in his face to try to help, hoping it would revive him. After a minute or two, Finn's eyes began to open. He began to take bigger whiffs of Kayla's cute, sweaty toes. Seeing this, Kayla was happy.
"Finn!," she said, "You're back!" Finn couldn't answer; he was too occupied with smelling his "Queen's" soles and toes. He dug his nose in-between her toes, making Kayla giggle at the feel.
"Thank you... milady," Finn said, still weak.
"Don't mention it," said Kayla, "Afterall, you helped me. It's the least I can do." Kayla still thought it was weird, but she was glad it was helping her friend. And like she said, she owed him for saving her from the vines in the garden. Now there they were, sitting in the dark, creepy hall of the manor. Finn's sniffs echoed, Kayla noticed that the only other door was on the other side of the room; it must lead to the lobby.
After a few minutes of Finn smelling her feet, Kayla was starting to get a little frustrated (she still didn't like the idea of people near her feet). She pulled them away from Finn's face.
"Do you feel better Finn?" asked Kayla.
"N-not...entirely..." uttered Finn, "I hate to say... t-that I'm still e-exhausted." Finn was getting better, he was actually speaking and moving more, but he couldn't walk or think straight. Kayla had to give him her feet for a little while longer.
"Oh, okay Finn," hesitant, Kayla put her feet up to Finn's face again. However, to Kayla's surprise, Finn pushed her feet down. "Huh? What's wrong?"
"I'm afraid that just the s-smell of your f-feet... won't be enough, milady," said Finn. Kayla was a little confused.
"Oh," she stared at her feet, curiously, "Well what can I do?"
Finn stared at Kayla's pretty feet in his tiny hands. He felt upset; he knew what he must do to regain his strength. After all, he was the head-goblin, not a normal one from his clan. He needed more from girls' feet than just sniffing them. He sighed, bashfully looked up at Kayla, and asked...
