Alex was not always a "big girl". In fourth grade she has been mostly thin with a few curves. But in fith grade she was always eating somthing fattening. Even during class she was eating a helping of M&Ms.
She has gained most of her weight in the summer between fith and sixth grade because her mother liked her new belly and making her eat more then she could helping her grow. Alex didn't know that her mom wanted to fatten her up so she just ate what ever her mom gave her.
Alex was in te kitchen the night before her first day at middle school waiting for her dinner. (Alex is an only child and her mom and dad eats later so she eats alone) Alex's mom brings a huge plate of 5 tacos to the table. "Thanks mom!" Alex said. "No, thank you! Make sure to clean your plate!" "I will mom."
When she finished her tacos her mom took her plate away and brought a plate of a huge slice of cake. "Mom, think I can't finish this." Alex said softly as she was rubbing her belly that was slightly sticking out of her shert. "You finish this and you finish this today!" Alex's mom
said.
