Needless to say, skirts and cold nights did not go well together, as your legs and arms were a bit cold from the night air. You began to wonder if you should just get out of this costume and leave, maybe come back in the morning. Then again, your parents would like to know where you were going, so that probably won't work. What were you to do?
Still, seeing yourself in this body was a bit appealing. Not that you were a pervert or anything, but Mia was really cute. She was a quick favorite of yours from the game after all. The fact that there was a costume such as this still felt so unreal to you, yet it wasn't really bad. However, that still left you at the question of what you should do now.
You decided to look around a bit more, maybe even find a better costume if you came across it. However, you didn't seem to be in the mood for changing even as you looked. Eventually, as you turned a corner, something caught your eye. It appeared to be some kind of machine, with a containment unit and some keypad in the front. As much as your sci-fi instincts were telling you to stay away, your curiosity was stronger.
"What's this?" You walked right over, looking at the computer in front. You knew some things about computers, but not so much about code and the like. There was an option there, saying "Transfer?" with a "Yes/No" option. What did this thing do? Well, since you had come this far, you might as well check all of it out. You pressed down on the "Yes" option, with several lines of code appearing with a message.
"Confirmed. Please step inside."
While obviously a computer voice, you looked around to see what it was talking about. Suddenly, you saw the containment unit open, just like in the movies. You shielded your eyes from the bright light, looking inside to see what it was. However, the very second your whole body entered, the door slammed shut, shocking you.
"What the?! Hey, let me out!" You banged your hands against the door, but nothing happened. You soon heard the voice again, apparently counting down.
"4......3......2.......1......Begin."
You braced for impact as best you could, but all you saw was light as you blacked out.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
