Chapter #4
Freezing your problems away.
by: Unknown
"Um, nothing, really," said Rebecca. "I think someone took an iPod and made some silly changes to the controls. I have no idea why they'd send it to me, though."
"Well, let us see it, then!" said Betty.
"Yeah, don't we always share everything?" said Becky.
Rebecca didn't particularly want this device getting out of her grasp, but she didn't know whether "pre-programmed so only you can use it" meant that it would work for her clones. She quickly pressed Lock.
Just as Brittany reached for the device, her hand, and everything else, froze.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Rebecca picked up the instruction manual. She figured that clones, while possibly interesting, might be too dangerous. Since those were the only changes she'd made, she hit Reset.
Time unfroze, her four clones, their beds and armchair, and the TV, vanished.
"Note to self: don't clone myself, I'm way too interested in what I've got."
Still, she wanted to try out more features of the device, but she wasn't sure if it was really right to use it on someone else, even if only she would remember the changes.
