This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
Thought I'd start an interactive story just for the fun of it. This is based on Clark Ashton Smith's Zothique, William Hope Hodgson's The Night Land and Jack Vance's The Dying Earth.

It is the far future. The sun has grown dim. The human race has diminished to only a few million, most of whom live in a small number of cities scattered throughout this large continent in the Northern hemisphere. The rest of the world has become terra incognita. Science and technology are largely forgotten (though pockets of them may still be hidden in places, waiting to be discovered); sorcery and magic have returned in a big way, as well as all kinds of denizens of the supernatural, most of them not benign to humanity by nature (though a few are).

You are a human born into this world. Can you do something about it?

Don't make it too easy to set things right -- but at the same time don't make things too dark either, please. :) Let there always be at least some possibility of hope. And please go light on the sex and gore -- preferably just hint at those things if you really must put them in. :)
