(this is a little guide that I did for the next story.)
The world of Sufira
In the world of Sufira, monsters and humans coexist together. One hating the other. But there is a catch, the monsters can be caught and taught how to protect and fight for you. Or to be your friend and help you. This guide is to help you understand the world you live in and live a longer life, not in a monsters belly.
When you go out into the world, you need to know a few things.
One- you need to know how to fight. If you don’t know how to fight, then you can’t defend yourself if a monster jumps out in front of you.
Two- you need a summon-stone. Before you head out on your own, you need to have a partner. Summon-stones are monsters that have been forced into a soul-gem by the means of magic or science. You will learn about soul-steeling later. You will learn about the way a summon works later.
Three- you need a scanner. There are two kinds of scanners, the hand held and the gauntlet. You will learn about scanners later.
Four- you need to have graduated from school. Summon-school is a mandatory for all hunters to accomplish before you can go out and look for summons. You will learn more about this later.
Five- you need Soul-gems. Soul-gems are round and can hold monsters in them, which become summons. You will learn more later.
Summon-school
Before you go out and hunt your first monster, you need to have an education. And what better place to get that then your local Summon-school. When in school, you will be taught the basics. How to fight, how to catch a monster, how the sealing of the monster works, ect. You also have basic classes, like science, gym, and English. But your main classes are to teach you about your summons that you will work for. There is one thing you need to know, the outfit that you show up in on your first day, will be your school uniform.
Fighting-
When searching for a monster, you need to have the right skills and uniform. Most hunters, the ones who hunt the monsters, go with basic hunting gear. Basic hunting gear comes equipped with a tracer that locks on to a monster and tracks it with a push of a button. The basic gear is light weight and allows mobility. But most common gear is heavy and limits mobility, but has great defense. But the younger hunter often want to look good and ‘fly’, so they wear light weight cloths. When fighting a summon, most people use a sword, to get the feeling that their ancestors had. But now a day, hunters use a gun to take down a monster. But bullets can’t always go through a scaly or leathery hide. So a sword has to be kept with you when hunting, for safety reasons.
Soul-gem-
A soul gem is a stone that is basically an empty shell till a monster becomes sealed inside. When a monster is sealed away, it becomes a summon. The way that a Soul-gem captures a monster, is by two ways. The first way is by magic. The way that the magic works is by reciting the steal-spell. The seconded way is by Science. The way that this is done by the scanner gauntlet. You will learn about this later.
Summon-stone-
The Summon-stone, the thing of mysteries. A summon-stone holds only one summon at a time. When you use a summon, you must call it out, by lifting it above your head and calling out the summons name. Summon-stones come in a variety of colors-
Red
Blue
Green
Gold
Black
White
Pink
Red-the beginner level of a summon.
Blue-the novice level of a summon.
Green-the intermediate level of a summon.
Gold-the master level of a summon.
There are special summons in the world of Sufira. The colors of these summonses are black, white, and pink.
Black-black summon-stones are dark monsters that have been sealed away by the forces of nature or by holy monsters. It is very rare to find a dark monster not in its stone form. When approaching a dark monster, use caution, for they are known to be very deadly.
White- White summon-stones are holy monsters. Holy monsters are sent to protect humans and normal monsters from dark monsters. If a dark monster bites a human or a monster, then it becomes a dark monster as well. Holy monsters are extremely rare to find in stone form. But you can find them at churches and others sacred grounds.
Now, for the most dangerous summon of all.
Pink- the pink summon-stone is common and very dangerous to have. Pink summons are known as; ‘Mother-stones’. Mother-stones are monsters that are all female and act like a mother. Mother-stones have only a few moods, which you will learn about later, the moods are: loving, caring, protective, forcing, needing, and wanting. These moods are only for mother-stones. If a mother-stone has been summoned, the stone will vanish and the summon cannot be sent back. If you ever come across a Mother-stone, you must run. You are not allowed to kill a Mother-stone, for they are more advanced than a normal summon. Mother-stones can break free of the holds of their stones and become people, have kids, and make families, even with humans. When the first Mother-stones became free and made families, they went to court and fought for their rights. When they won they made it clear to take any Mother-stones they find to the nearest summon fillers so it can be given to the Mother-stone realists. You are not to kill any Mother-stone you find, for it is against the law.
There are a few summonses that are called ‘The forgivers’. The forgivers are the gods of the summons. There are only three forgivers, they come from the darkness, the light, and Mother-stones. The forgivers,(in the same order.) are chaos, cosmos, and the flower spirit.
Summonses have three forms. Attack, rest, and chibi. When they are in attack, they are ready for a battle. Rest is when they are in the stone. And chibi is when they are out and about.
Chibi is a smaller form of a summon. It is a, what some say, cuter form of a summon.
Moods- moods are the way that a summon acts. There are several moods to summons; happy, energetic, feisty, sleepy, sad, anger, hatred, guilt, protective, loving, evil and good.
There are some cases that a Mother-stone has a child. When a Mother-stone has a child with a human, the child is half monster and half human, meaning that the child can be caught and turned in to a summon. If you are one of those kids, then be very careful who you tell who you are. For you may be double crossed and sucked into a Soul-gem. Kids who are the offspring of a Mother-stone and a human have powers and can do amazing things. Scientist have tried to give people the powers of summons, but failed to do so without a Mother-stone. And they have tried to dissect the children of Mother-stones to get the DNA of the summons to make the dream possible. If you are caught, this may happen to you.
Well, that’s about it. Other than what I just told you, you are on your own for now.
