Star Sapphire blasted at Green Lantern with her gem. It was the source of her power, much like the Lantern's ring. Without it, she had no powers at all. Fortunately, unlike the ring, her sapphire didn't require repowering. "You're going to wear out sooner or later, Lantern!" she taunted in her upper class British accent.
"Maybe, but you'll be down by then," he replied before creating a battering ram that hit her hard. She managed to put up a field to protect herself from serious harm, but it sent her flying into a museum. With a yelp, she crashed through an exhibit. Chuckling at Green Lantern's clumsiness (it hadn't hurt and she had doubtlessly smashed something valuble) she stood up, unaware that what she had broken had affected her Sapphire.
