I woke up by the smell of egg and bacon, I opened my eyes and sat up and saw Alair with a frying pan with the food I spoke off cooking. “Morning” she said with a smile on her face as she spotted me getting myself up.
“Morning” I answered back as I rubbed my eyes to get the sleep out from them. Alair took out a plate, place an egg and slices of cooked bacon onto it and handed me it. “Thank you” I said as I took the plate from her.
As I was eating, I noticed that the other three women were nowhere to be seen. “They left” said Alair as she took out a plate for herself and put the rest of the egg and bacon on it. “I'm sorry?” was all I said when I looked at her confused.
“Oh its nothing” she said as she was eating. I don't know what it is but when we were eating, I noticed that strange atmosphere around us as if something was wrong. “What's wrong?”
asked Alair as she noticed the expression on my face.
“I don't know what it is but...something feels” I said as Alair butted in, “Wrong” “Yeah” I said as I looked at her confused. “If that's the case then its best that we leave here” said Alair as she took a last bit of her breakfast and stood up.
“Hay now, what is it?” I asked as he stood up. “We best flee here now” ordered Alair as she ran off. Not wanting to leave her alone I decided to follow her. “Hay wait up!” I shouted. “We have no time to talk, we better hurry or...” said Alair as she spotted something behind.
“Not good” she said as she grabbed hold of me and hid behind a tree that was in the fields. As I was about to say something, Alair covered my mouth and pointed upwards. I looked up and saw a very strange looking bird flying around in circles.
After a few minutes, the bird flew away and Alair let my go of my mouth. “What was that about?” I asked. “Oh...I wish I didn't got you involved” answered Alair as she placed her hands over face. “What do you mean?” I asked as I looked at her with a worried look.
“I'm...I'm on the run” she answered as she took her hands off her face. “On the run? From what?” I asked. “I was once part of a circus...and I ran away from it and now...they want me back” she answered as I noticed that she was shaking.
“Why do they want you back?” I asked and from the expression on her, I kinder knew that she didn't know the answer to that question.
“Come, its best if we head off towards the local town to keep a low profile as they may be around” said Alair as she headed towards the nearest town known as Baal Garden.
