"A giant?" asked Danny, "Well that's certainly a bit different."
Tom nodded, eager to be really tall. But instead of suddenly being several hundred feet tall, a massive plethera of merchandise for the New York Giants filled his room. Everything from posters and jerseys, to signed footballs by the team and many a picture of Tom with various people at their games.
Now this had surprised Tom at first, but as soon as he got the joke, he burst into laughing, nearly falling on the floor. Tears welled up in his eyes since he was laughing so hard. For a moment, Danny thought Tom might not be able to breathe due to his near-gasping, but that thought was quickly pushed away as Tom slowly stopped laughing and caught his breath.
"Dude...that was hilarious. I wasn't even expecting that at all." Tom said, as he fully calmed down and sat on his bed to calm his heart.
"I know, I saw a chance, and I couldn't help myself." Danny replied, to which he finished by returning Tom's room to how it was previously. "Now then, how big do you wanna be, and how fast do you wanna grow?"
"Umm...one hundred feet seems good, and I wanna grow quickly." Tom responded.
"Ok then. But I'm gonna change reality as you grow. I don't want anybody suspecting anything yet. I mean, your mom would flip if she saw you were suddenly 100 feet tall." said Danny, standing back from Tom's bed.
Tom seemed a bit disappointed, but understood.
Now Danny began to actually turn his best friend into a giant. Tom wanted fast growth, and so he would get it.
Before he could realize it, Tom was already 6 feet taller, and gaining inches by the second. By the time Tom noticed he was growing he had already gotten to nine feet tall and nearly at ten. Now reality changed in very obvious ways (before they had been subtle, and only Danny himself had noticed). Tom's head was nearly at the ceiling, when it seemed to suddenly grow with him. His previously very messy and full room began to thin out, as most of his furnture seemingly vanished, and soon after was replaced with a much more sparse room. Even then, as he hit his halfway mark of fifty feet, nearly everything in his room was gone. His clothes had grown along with him, but seemed a bit more...worn than they were before. Almost by the time he got to 100 feet tall, Tom heard a "whoosh" like sound, and then everything stopped. Tom wasn't sure why, but he knew that he now lived far out in the country to keep away from prying eyes.
"Well dude, there you go. One hundred feet tall." 'said' Danny, though he was actually speaking right into Tom's mind. Tom got down on all fours to see his normal sized demigod-of a friend standing there, looking very pleased with his work.
"Wow...I can't believe it. I feel so...powerful. It's weird dude. We know that I'd never hurt anyone, but you're just so....so small." thought Tom, since talking probably would have hurt Danny's ears.
"So, now what do you wanna do?" asked Danny, though he already knew the answer.
