Still dumbfounded by the fear and awe of seeing something so incredible, the only thing Tanya could do was to go over all the questions and thoughts she had formed after what she had seen, but no matter what came to mind, sooner or later it all came down to this question:
- "If Mina was able to grow so much, then if there is a specific source of her growth on this island?".
This thought caused Tanya's mind to fill with images of what it would be like to be a giantess herself, and what it would be like to experience the incredible feeling of growth she had just witnessed. Tanya might have been in a trance for a long time, but a sudden moan from Mina brought her to her senses.
- "Mmmmmm... more~"
With those words, Mina set off into the depths of the island, tearing down all sorts of vegetation to the loud rumble of her own footsteps. Once she was sure that the giantess had gone far enough and the rumble of her footsteps had stopped, Tanya breathed a sigh of relief. After she had calmed down a little, Tanya began to think about what to do next.
- "Given her last words, from the looks of it she either knows or realizes what made her grow so much. So if I go after her, in theory I could find the source of her growth, and maybe by taking advantage of it I could become her equal... or even surpass her."
With this thought in mind, Tanya went after Mina, or at least in the same direction in which she left. Given their height differences, Tanya probably won't be able to catch up with Mina, even if she runs, and given that the path across the island is probably not the safest, walking slowly will be the best option.
After, according to Tanya's feelings, 3 or 4 hours of wandering through the jungle, following the footprints left by Mina, Tanya decided to sit down a little and give up.
"Is this island endless or what? I definitely couldn't start walking in circles, because I was clearly following the trail."
Exhausted, Tanya threw her head back and decided to look at the sky, when suddenly she noticed something strange out of the corner of her eye...
- "Stop... Have these trees always been this big?"
All the way Tanya looked forward and under her feet, not paying too much attention to the fact that the further she went, the larger the flora around her became, starting from ordinary bushes, ending with various trees. Looking closely, she noticed not only that the bushes were now 2 or even 3 times taller than her, but also the trees through which the trace of Mina went were not uprooted, but simply felled, which meant that even with her current growth, she is not a "biggest thing" on the island.
After finishing her break, Tanya continued to follow the trail of Mina, and after about an hour of wandering, she finally saw that there was something else behind the trees, in addition to more trees! At full speed, she began to race, and finally, after so much time of almost non-stop walking, she finally reached the edge of the jungle, and beheld a giant lake in front of her.
There was no end in sight to this lake, and from her viewing angle it seemed so bottomless that Tanya thought for a second that she just got to the other end of the island, but looking closer, she noticed in the distance, at the other end, more trees, the same apparently big ones that those through which she has been going through lately.
But after she realized her situation, Tanya finally realized something... at this point, Mina's trail ends. Did she really come all this way to swim here? Or maybe Tanya really got lost and came to another place altogether? Tanya was about to start looking around, when suddenly she heard a strange sound.
