Jill looked down at this Grade 9 student with disgust. She wasn't worthy to bump into her. Jill was popular and this student was new.
The student said, "My name is April. Yours?"
Jill replied cruelly, "Mine's Jill. Queen of the school for your information."
April replied with interest, "Queen? Like you rule the school? Or are you just stuck up and believe you're way too popular?"
Jill almost yelled, "I don't have to take this from you, you little..."
April interrupted and said, "You know, you'd be popular with the Grade 9's if you helped them out. Then they could talk about you. Then when they graduate, they'll have told people about you. And you'll be a school legend. Forever."
Jill liked the thought and said, "I could show you around quickly. No one minds if I miss a class anyways."
April muttered, "I wonder why..."
On their walk, Jill saw April's necklace hanging out of her pocket. Jill was fascinated by it for some reason and attempted to grab it. To put it on. Did she?
