In a small lab, a young Koopa princess waits as her Magikoopa assistant puts the final incantations on a dull-looking staff. He gives it one last tap, and it became shiny and glowy.
"There you go, Miss Wendy! Your brand new wand!"
Wendy received her gift with glee. "Mmmm, yes! Finally, I have the power I need to crush the plumb-ahs!"
She strutted out into the hallway, eyeing her new weapon.
"Now, how to use it first...Ooh! I'll use it give myself some new pow-ahs!"

Out on the sunshined roof, Wendy read from an old spell book from the head Magikoopa, Kamek. She squints as she reads her chosen page.
"Ugh! This guy's writing is awful! I'm just barely making it out! Oh well. I got the spell I need." She threw the book
to the side and began twirling her wand above her head."Now let's turn myself into a mountain-moving Goliath!"
She began her chanting. "Pebbles scattered around Petey's feet!
Stronger power than from Grubba meat!
From the stars above, may it be so,
That no force is greater when these muscles grow!"
She tapped herself on the head, and coloured sparkles shot out from the wand's end. Wendy smiled from the seemingly successful spellcast. She looked around, waiting for her granted wish. But soon her smile turned to an unsatisfied frown.
"Oh, a dud! That's what I get for taking an older version of one of Kamek's books! Who writes that stuff, anyway! 'Pebbles around Petey's feet'?"
She paused to think. "Or...maybe it was 'petals'."
