Chapter #3

A saleswoman

    by: Lee3000 Author IconMail Icon
A pretty blonde saleswoman stood at the door, wearing a beaming smile. She seemed to be in her ealry thirties but you couldn't be sure, dressed in a black skirt and jacket with tan nylons and black pumps. She looked professional and had with her a bag filled with boxes. They looked like shoe boxes.
'Yes?' Your step mother asked curtley. You saw the saleswomans smile faulter for a second, before she forced it back.
'Good morning.' She said, chirpily. 'My name is Emily and I'm from the new shoe store which has opened up in town. I'm going around to show people some of our products, maybe even sell a few. Would you be interested in seeing what we have to offer?' She asked.
'Not today thanks.' Your mother said, begining to close the door. Emily, obvously not prepared to give up the sale, blocked the door with her foot.
'But you have to see our prices. For the quality of shoe we sell we won't be beaten.' Emily said. You saw your step mother look her in the eye, then a smile - a wry smile - formed on her lips.
'Okay then, come on in.' Cathy said and stood aside.
'Thank you.' emily beamed and entered. Cathy lead her into the kitchen where you were all seated, at the breakfast table. Cathy took the last remaining seat, leaving Emily to stand. Emily looked initially surprised at the amount of people present but shook it off, waving to great everyone. She got little response.
'So, what have you go to show me?' Cathy asked.
'Well, we have a wide range of shoes available, but our most popular at the minute, being summer and all, are these stylish crocs.' Emily said, and removed a box from her bag. She opened it and pulled out a pair of pink, rubber, mules - the chunky crocs she spoke of.
'They're nice.' Cathy conceeded. 'I could do with a pair of those for th summer.'
'They are nice, aren't they? And a good price too. Unforunately these are the only pair I have left, and they are fairly big. What size shoe are you?' She asked. Cathy grinned.
'Eight.' She replied. Emilies eyes widened.
'Great, these are an eight! You could try them on if you like.'
'Sure.' Cathy replied.
Emily handed one to Cathy but your step mom ignored the gesture, she simply pulled her bare foot from her slipper and held it before the woman, looking at her expectantly. It took Emily a few seconds of confused staring before she realized Cathy wanted her to put it on her foot.
'Oh, sorry.' She said. She then got down in a single knee and took hold of Cathy's ankle, looking at her well formed, tanned foot with red painted nails. She then slipped the croc onto her foot before standing up again. 'It looks great.' Want to try the other one?'
'Maybe.' Cathy said. 'They are nice but its such a shame to cover my feet. I have very pretty feet, don't you think?' She asked the sales girl, pulling her other foot free from her slipper and rotating it before the girl.
Emily looked a little confused, and you felt bad for her. This was not going to end well, for her anyway.
'Erm, yes, very pretty.' She said.
'You're jsut saying that because you want to make a sale.' Cathy teased.
'No, really, they are very pretty. I wish my feet were as nice as that.' She said, laying it on thick.
'You really think so?' Cathy asked.
'Really.' Emily told her.
'I'm glad you think so.' Cathy said.
'So, do you want to try the other shoe on?'
'In a moment.'
Emily's face suddenly went a little pale.
'Something wrong?' Ann asked her with a knowing smile.
'I...I feel a little funny.' She replied. 'Whats happening to me?'
Cathy chuckeld.
'Well, I thought since you liked my feet so much you could get to know them better...'

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. 'I'm shrinking you.'

2. 'I'm turning you into the insole of that croc.'

*Noteb*
3. 'I'm turning you into a sweat sock.'

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
