'Come on Cathy, let me have her for the day.' Ann presses. 'Afterall, she was being puished last night - just think of this as a continuation.' She giggles.
'Mom, no!' Clare says loudly, worried about where this is going.
'Oh fine.' Cahty says. 'Claire, Aunty Ann gets to keep you for the day.'
'Yay.' Ann says and claps her hands theatrically.
'But why?!' She whines.
'Because she'll just keep asking and asking until she gets her way, and I can't be bothered with listening to her.' Cathy replies with a smile to her sister.
'I'm not that bad am I sis?' Ann asks, wryly.
'You know you are.' Cathy says.
'But mom, this isn't fair.' Claire protests, her voice getting increasingly paniced.
'Oh shush, its just for a day - and it isn't like its never happened before. Look at it like your doing your Aunty a favour.' Cathy says.
'Mmmmm.' Ann purrs. 'You'll soon be doing my feet a favour little girl.'
Cathy chuckles and concentrates. 'Okay Ann, the ban is lifted on Claire. You can do what you like.'
'Thank you dear.'
'Aunty Ann, please.' Claire looks to her Aunt with fear filled eyes. 'Please don't.'
'Sorry dear, but that would be a waste.' She replies. 'Tell you what though - I'll let you choose how you'll start your day at my feet. You can either be shrunken to half an inch or I turn you into a human toe ring for my pretty toe.' She says, wiggling her toes. 'What will it be?'
Claire sits, gobsmacked and terrified.
'You can't expect me to choose between those choices.' She says.
'Well, you have until the count of three.' Ann says. 'If you don't pick one, then I'm going to shrink you into a spec, smaller than a millimetre, and jam you into one of the wrinkles of my soles.' She titteres. 'And that can be your home for the morning, living as my foot dirt. So whats it to be?'
Cathy chuckled at this and you could only watch on in morbid amazment.
'One.' Ann counts.
'Better make up your mind honey.' Cathy adds. 'I don't think living as your Auntys foot dirt will be much fun.'
'Two....'
