Jill then decided to head to work, after all her boss would chew her out again if she would be late. On her way over she couldn't believe what just happened. She really absorbed that little girl becoming her in the process. Jill thought about the possibilities of her powers. She could use them for anything she wanted.
Jill arrived at work in time and stepped inside the lobby quickly. She saw Hank the security guard reading his papers as usual. "Morning Hank." She said as she walked past him.
"Morning Jill. You look cheerful." Hank said as he watched her over his newspaper.
"Just something awesome happened this morning." Jill explained as she stepped inside the elevator and pressed the button. The elevator rose to the eleventh floor where she stepped out. Jill was surprised by the lack of people, normally there would be a lot more around now.
"Hey Jill." She suddenly heard as she turned around to face Sally Maples, one of her friends at work. "Already here?"
"What do you mean, I usually arrive around this time." Jill said as she sat down at her desk.
"But didn't you get the notice. There was a presentation at the Fairfax Hotel, I didn't go because I don't like it there but I suspected you would go.
"Sally, I didn't know a thing. Who was supposed to send me a notice?" Jill asked shocked at this.
"Brianna. Who else but the personal secretary of the boss." Sally said shrugging her shoulders. Jill instantly was furious. She hated miss bimbo right from the start and now this. If she knew this she would have slept out longer. She was going to pay for it.
"Where's Brianna now?" Jill asked.
"At the meeting of course." Sally said as she began reading through her e-mails. "And don't do something stupid as to go after her. Just stay with me here." Sally suggested.
