8th Story = An eccentric inventor.

Professor Charles William Bennet is the name of the inventor, he has a brilliant mind and is well known throughout his community and indeed the country. With several unique patents already attributed to him, he has now invented a wonderous device with an hitherto unknown power. Professor Bennet is 54 years old, is a slender man with grey hair and spectacles, and he is also known for his eccenticities. He owns a large house with several servants at his disposal and he is a fair man...although he does have a temper when angered.

First we need to establish a time and a country which this story takes place.
