In Rise's mind Naoto was right cutting back on sweets would ensure she didn't continue to gain but did she have the will and the desire to stay true to her word?
Rise continued to eye the mirror using her imagination made her reflection bloat out slightly, she had to admit it wasn't bad considering she had given herself a more hourglass shape but snapped back to reality when she thought about what the others might say...especially Souji.
He didn't seem too fond of the extra-large Hanako (not that she was friendly with anyone mind you) and Rise worried that her Senpai would no longer give her the time of day if she had a gut that rivaled the biggest girl in school.
A soft sigh escaped her lips she needed to diet or at least cut down on the snack intake. Of course things are never as easy as they first seem...
*SNAP*
Rise crunched away at a chocolate-heavy candy bar as she stood at top of the school roof. She sighed deeply, couldn't even make it a day without one piece of candy. Snapping away at another piece Rise wondered if this was how smokers felt when they couldn't go a single day without a smoke to puff away at.
Looking downward at her slightly pudgier uniform-covered belly Rise absentmindedly poked away at it. In a week's time she had added anywhere from five to possibly ten pounds! Thankfully she had plumped out in all the right places so her belly wasn't as noticeable that and her school uniform (along with work attire) did well in hiding the sudden poundage.
Lastly while her face as well as a portion of her exposed thighs did appear visibly fuller no one, from friends to classmates, seem to bring up the subject of potential weight gain. She figured people must be thinking that she's blossoming into her adult body but was rather surprised Naoto hadn't said a thing after all the girl was the one who was quickest on the uptake.
Maybe Naoto was just purposely being quiet about it...or maybe she had let the girl down after the detective had offer her advice. Rise hoped it was the former and not the latter.
