Ever since Chie met Narukami, she felt a sense of attraction to him. The silver haired boy seemed a bit stoic on the outside but was actually kind and sweet. He even saved her and her best friend when she'd gone with him and Yosuke into the T.V world for the very first time. Despite seeing her true self there, he didn't judge. He accepted her regardless.
All of her friends did, that more than she could ever hope for. Currently Sumer break and that meant school was out. It was just her, her friends, and the blazing sun. But what she wanted more than anything else though, was to gat her crush's attention. Or to be more precise, she wanted to tell Narukami -- er-- Yu, how she felt. They were on a first name basis with each other, that was good first step, right?
So why was it that he seemed to be keeping his distance suddenly? It was subtle but she could tell. Plus Rise kept on globing onto him. Even Yukiko seemed to cut in every now and again. She felt left out. She knew Rise had an obvious Crush on Yu, but did Yukiko too? Did she have to like the same guy she did? She couldn't help but fall back into her old thoughts of jealously. Especially since she and Yu started hanging out more.
There was also the fact that she knew Yu liked taller girls. She may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but she had spotted him on more than one occasion looking at taller women. That's why her bestie had the edge here. She was a mere 5'2" while Yukiko stood at 5'5". Just how was she supposed to compete with that. Yet another little thing to be envious of.
Chie sighed as she sat on her bed. She stared up a the ceiling which housed a poster of one of her many Kung-Fu idols. They never gave up so why should she. Yeah! All she had to do was find a way to get taller. If she did then there was no way she'd loose this battle for her crush's affections.
But there was still one problem... Just how was she supposed to get any taller?
